Image Tools
Privacy and your images
How the image tools handle files and browser data.
Combine and split images stay on your device
Choosing, dropping or pasting an image gives this page access to that local file. Decoding, previews, cropping, combining, splitting and ZIP creation run in your browser. These two tools do not upload original files, image previews, filenames or EXIF metadata to a server.
Cloud image processing
Starting background or watermark removal sends the selected image through our server to Kie and its model service providers. Our server re-encodes the image to remove metadata before upload, without storing the original persistently, and returns the processed result to your browser. Kie and its providers may temporarily retain uploaded images and results under their own policies; we cannot promise deletion there after 10 minutes. Image contents are not recorded in our server logs. Account identifiers and job records are stored to verify credits, recover tasks and avoid duplicate charges.
Temporary recovery copies
Our database temporarily stores a copy of the processed result so the same request can retrieve it again within 10 minutes if delivery is interrupted. Expired recovery copies are cleared during later account-usage or processing requests; deletion does not happen at an exact 10-minute deadline. This recovery window does not describe upstream providers’ retention. This browser tab stores only the request ID, tool type and account ID in session storage to restore the correct task after refresh; it does not save images or filenames there. Save your downloaded result before closing the tab.
Temporary editing memory
Images and edit history are kept in this tab’s memory. Switching between the two tools preserves each session. Clear this tool removes its editing history; an active or failed export may still hold its snapshot until the task finishes or you dismiss it. Refreshing or closing the tab ends these temporary sessions.
Downloads and metadata
Downloads are generated locally and handed to your browser. Your browser controls where they are saved. Exported images are re-encoded and do not retain the original EXIF metadata; the displayed orientation is applied to the pixels.
Accounts, usage and website requests
Signing in uses account and session data. The service stores subscription status, credit transactions and daily export counts; local export checks send a job identifier, not your images. Loading the website also requests scripts, fonts and site assets and reveals connection information such as an IP address to the web host. Preferences may use browser storage or cookies; image data is not stored in those preferences.
Account verification and Google sign-in
Resend delivers account verification and password reset emails to the address you provide. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your Google account identifier, name, email address and profile picture to create or connect your account. We request only basic sign-in permissions. Cloudflare hosts the service, and Neon stores account and session records. Registration does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
No analytics or session replay in this version
Analytics, session replay, affiliate tracking and chat tracking are disabled. The tools do not send image data or filenames to an analytics or error-reporting service.
